A fine-dine terrace lounge for the Swathi brand, shaped by free-flowing pattern and blue light.
The Brief
S Signature is a fine-dine space that carries the brand identity of the Swathi chain of restaurants. The programme asked for a ninety-cover fine-dine room on the terrace floor.
The Space
The concept is free flow, in both space and pattern. A fluid pattern begins at the entrance lobby and runs through to the lounge bar; on the ceiling it becomes an abstract reading of the sky, deepened by blue light. Free-flowing granite defines the seating, while a raised periphery opens a panoramic view of the city under a glass roof, with stone and bamboo cladding for the feel of outdoor dining. A fluid bar counter sits at the junction of terrace and lounge, and a Buddha figure on a stone wall completes the décor.
