A desert residence shaped for heat, light and courtyard living. Currently under construction.
Climate
Set in the desert climate of Jodhpur, the house is shaped first by heat and light. Thick, shaded edges and inward-facing courtyards keep the interior cool, drawing the household into sheltered open-to-sky spaces rather than exposing it to the sun.
In Progress
Currently under construction, the residence organises its generous programme around these courtyards, so that shade, air and the movement of water temper the desert climate and give the home its calm.
